Drew Gulick

As the Founder of Focal Point Business Strategies Drew brings over 16 years' experience ranging from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies across a range of industries. Consistent throughout this breadth of experience has been his rigorous implementation of transformative strategic initiatives and operational improvements to drive growth while solidifying long-term market positions.

Drew obtained an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis, where he was a Dean’s Scholar, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Santa Clara University. He is on the friends board at the Fathers & Families Support Center and has served in numerous leadership roles over the past 7 years at St. Peter's Episcopal Church.

Small Business Management

Drew was the Managing Director of London Travel Clinic, a privately owned, UK-based chain of travel health clinics. Upon his arrival the business was facing declining revenue and struggling to turn a profit. Under Drew’s leadership between 2013-2015 annual revenue doubled to $5M while profitability grew to 11%.

Construction Project Management

Early in his career Drew was rapidly promoted through three roles with McCarthy Building Co. He oversaw project schedules and managed both union and non-union subcontractors on projects with a combined value of over $500M.

Corporate Operational Excellence

From 2016-2022 Drew worked for Centene Corp. (“Centene”) a Fortune 25, global healthcare enterprise. Most recently, Drew was Senior Director of International Operations, with responsibility for operations, strategic improvement initiatives, and supporting growth strategy for Centene’s $2.3B international portfolio of hospitals and clinics.
